we love this movie..like in love with it. especially since we have our son Kaliq we are more into movies that involves family values. we watch this movie like 3 times already and still we could watch it again and again.
the story involves on Benjamin Mee played by Matt Damon. Matt has always been awesome as we knows. Benjamin Mee in this film have been describe as someone who got 2 kids and just lost his wife and trying to give his kids and himself a new beginning. that happen when he search for a new home and fall in love with a land that includes a zoo! there he start to build back the zoo even though he knows nothing bout a zoo.he falls in love again and his kids especially his son learn to love the new place and build the zoo back from scratch. it is based on a true story of Benjamin Mee.here is his official website DARTMOORZOO
i love the kid that play his daughter in this movie. she is super cute and yes she can definitely act! this movie will bring laughter and tears to your heart.
FUNFACT
- in real life benjamin mee actually bought the zoo with his wife and kids..his wife died after they bought the zoo.
-in the movie it shows that a bear had escape from the zoo but in the real event its actually a Jaguar.
-the real benjamin mee took 2years to bought the zoo..not as easy as it seen on the movie.
